What is a personal Bible study?
It's not a class. It's not a lecture. It's a real conversation — just you and one other person, opening the Bible together and letting it speak for itself. No performance. No pretending. Just honest engagement with the most important book ever written.

What does it cover?
We study the First Principles series — 7-8 sessions covering the questions that actually matter: Who is God? Who is Jesus? How do we actually seek God? What does the Bible say about sin, salvation, the Holy Spirit, baptism, the church, and what it means to be a disciple? Each session is one topic, roughly one hour, working directly through Scripture. Nothing is assumed. Everything is shown.

What should I expect walking in?
Bring every question you have — especially the hard ones. The ones you've been afraid to ask in a religious setting. The ones you've had for years. We believe the Bible can handle all of them. Studies happen in person or virtually, wherever works for your life in New York City. You set the pace. You ask the questions. We open the Book.

How many studies are there?
About 8 sessions in total, spread across the Scriptures — from the Psalms to the book of Acts. There's no deadline, no pressure to rush, and no grade at the end. The only goal is that you understand what the Bible actually says, on your own terms, in your own time. Most people find the pace feels natural once they start — because the content is that good.

Who will I study with?
A real member of our church — someone who has personally been through every one of the same studies you're about to take. Same gender, close to your age when possible. Not a stranger with a script, but someone who genuinely wants to see you find what they found. Their job isn't to convince you of anything — it's to open the Bible with you and let God do the rest.

The Church
